Technical Specifications
Emmunify uses the portable record management platform Porte which provides open specifications for storage, retrieval and distribution of personal information. Emmunify complies to Porte's Health v2 which deals specifically with health information.
Portable Health Record Storage Specifications
As per Porte Health v2, the Emmunify Portable Health Record (EPHR) has to be stored as Protobuf (v3) blobs encrypted with 128 bit AES key. Emmunify supports storage of Protobuf (v3) blobs in the following form factors for its business case:
- In a RFID with minimum of 500 bytes of user accessible storage space (e.g. NTAG 215)
- In the filesystem of a mobile device (phone, tablet, watch)
- In a cloud-based key-value pair storage system
